Daily Sketches

I'm trying to do more sketches, grapping every chance.

Few days, I was at Target Starbuck. There were two young mothers with their babies, both nursing their babies. Reminds me when I once did that....quite a feat with a wiggling body.

This Sunday morning, my husband and I headed to the church meeting in Sacramento. It was not easy sketching him - lots of loose lines but it turned out better than expected.

Then in the meeting I spotted this young man and knew I had to draw him. He had that great face and features.

Then after the meeting as always we headed to the Teacup Cafe. Instead of our usually wor wonton soup we went for the dimsum. Good as always. The sketch was done during waiting for our food.

Sunday Sketches

At a church meeting, I've captured a few attentive saints. So attentive that they made perfect models.

Doing a bald head was more challenging than I thought.

March Let's Draw Davis Sketchcrawl

A beautiful, sunny day for a sketchcrawl.
Started at the UCD arboretum next to Whole Foods.
Many plants blooming...and we stayed and sketched.

Cally lilies....

Amazing tree with huge multiple yellow blossoms. Behind it is an another tree with delicate red blossoms.
Little bell like blossoms....low growing.

Along the arboretum, one of my bridges to cross over. It seems like everyone drew the whole bridge. I chose only a section. Not that brave.
