After spending most of the morning listening to the destruction Hurricane Irene and the pending danger to NYC, I left to go to the Davis Coop for the August sketchcrawl in Davis. After a few minutes of sketching, I completing forgotten about Irene. The rest of the day, we all enjoyed the unusually pleasant summer we've been having in northern California. And at our finishing place at Dairy Queen, we enjoyed the ice cream, root beer float, lemonade.....to review our day's sketches.
